infrared detector, door contact sensor, glass break sensor, wireless emergency button

Ideal Use Cases

  • Door/window contact sensors, motion detectors, glass break sensors, and vibration sensors installed in commercial buildings, warehouses, residential high-rises, and remote properties, where sensor access is limited.
  • Fence vibration alarms, gate/barrier access alarm sensors, and remote trail/property alarm nodes that are uesd in outdoor environment and facing extreme temperature fluctuations.
  • Wall-mounted panic buttons, emergency pull stations, and lone-worker panic alarm beacons that need to standby for years.

Core Advantages for Security Alarms

  • Annual self-discharge ≤1% at 25°C enables a shelf/service life of over 10 years, Eliminating frequent battery replacements, cutting long-term operational costs and reducing the risk of system downtime during swaps.
  • It maintains consistent voltage across its lifespan, ensuring reliable operation of sensors, wireless transmitters, and sirens that rely on stable power for accurate triggering, and preventing false alarms or failed alerts caused by voltage drops.
  • ER34615 has a nominal capacity up to 19Ah (3.6V), providing 3–10x the energy density of alkaline batteries. With the high energy density, it powers low-drain devices (motion detectors, door contacts) continuously while supporting occasional high-pulse loads.
  • The battery operates reliably from -55°C to +85°C, making it suitable for outdoor alarms, unheated basements, attics, or harsh industrial sites—environments where many batteries fail.
  • Maintenance-free design reduces on-site service needs, ideal for remote or hard-to-access alarm installations.

Frequently Asked About LiSoCl2 Battery

What’s the difference between ER34615 and D-size alkaline batteries?

While both share the D-cell form factor, ER34615 offers much higher energy densitylonger shelf life, and better performance in extreme environments, whereas D-size alkaline batteries are cheaper and rechargeable options exist.

Are there different versions of ER34615 (with or without tabs, connectors)?

Yes. ER34615 batteries are available in standard, with axial leads, tabs, or connectorized versions to suit different device requirements, especially for OEM and industrial applications.

What exactly is passivation? Sounds a bit technical!

Passivation is an interesting natural phenomenon observed in Lithium Thionyl Chloride (LiSO₂Cl₂) batteries. When lithium metal touches the thionyl chloride (SOCl₂) electrolyte, a thin, protective layer forms on the surface of the lithium negative electrode, this layer, mostly made up of Lithium Chloride (LiCl), creates a high-resistance barrier that prevents a continuous reaction between the lithium and the electrolyte.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ), and can I get samples first?

We have a minimum order value of USD $500. The actual quantity you receive depends on the unit price of the specific batteries you choose. Absolutely! We understand you need to test our products. We're happy to provide samples for your evaluation before you place a formal order.

How long will my order take, how can I pay, and what are the shipping options?
  • Lead Time:  Standard samples typically arrive in 7-12 days. Formal orders usually take around 25 days, though smaller quantities might ship faster, potentially within 15-18 days.
  • Payment Methods:  We accept various payment types, including T/T (Telegraphic Transfer), L/C (Letter of Credit), and PayPal.
  • Shipping:  We offer flexibility! Depending on your needs and location, we can ship your order via air freight (using carriers like FEDEX, DHL, UPS, EMS, etc.) or via sea freight.
  • Delivery Terms:  We can work with several common international shipping terms, including EXW, FCA, FOB, CFR, and DDU.
