This is a very important question, and the answer is a firm no. While some of these batteries share a similar diameter or thickness, their specific dimensions are different, making them incompatible.

• The CR1616 has a 1.6mm thickness.
• The CR1620 is thicker at 2.0mm.
• The CR1632 is even thicker at 3.2mm.
• The CR2032 is both wider (20mm) and thicker (3.2mm). A thicker battery won't fit, and a thinner one won't make a proper electrical connection. Always use the exact model specified by your device.

Due to its very specific dimensions (16mm x 1.6mm), there are no direct drop-in equivalents for the CR1616. While some other battery types might share a similar voltage, any difference in size will prevent them from fitting or functioning correctly.
