Which Primary Lithium Battery Solutions Can You Discuss?
PKCELL’s primary battery business serves projects where maintenance intervals, storage life, environmental conditions and application-specific loads matter. At Booth 17.2 I05-06, visitors are welcome to discuss the following product categories and their suitability for upcoming designs.
Li-SOCl2 Batteries for Long-Life, Low-Drain Equipment
3.6V lithium thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl2) cells are often evaluated for equipment that spends most of its time in a low-current state. Common ER models include ER14250, ER14505, ER26500 and ER34615. Typical uses include utility meters, data loggers and remote sensors installed in locations where frequent battery replacement would be costly.
The correct choice depends on more than nominal capacity. A designer should also check self-discharge, cutoff voltage, temperature, startup demand and the entire current profile. Explore PKCELL’s Li-SOCl2 ER battery range before the meeting if you already have a cell size in mind.
Li-MnO2 Batteries for Compact Industrial Electronics
3V lithium manganese dioxide (Li-MnO2) batteries offer another option for selected industrial and security devices. Models such as CR123A and CR2 are relevant where the device architecture calls for a compact 3V primary cell and a specific discharge profile.
For OEM sourcing, it is important to verify the exact mechanical envelope, current demand, operating conditions and required documentation rather than assuming two cells with a similar name will behave identically. See the PKCELL Li-MnO2 product lineup for available formats.

ER + HPC Packs for Devices with Short Power Bursts
Many wireless devices have a modest average current but draw significantly more power during data transmission, GPS acquisition or actuator events. In these cases, the peak load can determine whether an otherwise suitable long-life cell works reliably.
An ER + hybrid pulse capacitor (HPC) design combines primary lithium energy storage with a component intended to support brief, higher-current demands. The actual combination must be evaluated against the device’s pulse width, repetition rate, voltage limits and temperature range. Compare ER + HPC battery-pack options when preparing your technical questions.
Industrial Applications: Start with the Device’s Duty Cycle
At the fair, an application-based conversation is often more productive than comparing catalog capacities alone. Consider three examples:
- Smart water and gas meters: A device may sleep for long periods, then wake to measure, communicate or operate a valve. The energy budget and pulse behavior should both be evaluated. PKCELL’s utility-meter battery solutions provide useful application context.
- Remote IoT sensors and asset monitoring: Radio transmissions, outdoor temperatures and limited servicing access can affect the battery decision even when average current is low.
- Security controllers and backup electronics: Compact dimensions, standby duration and reliable operation at the system’s minimum supply voltage may be more important than simply selecting the highest-rated capacity.
These are application starting points, not universal cell recommendations. The final battery specification should be confirmed using the actual equipment load profile and project qualification tests. For a broader overview, visit the primary lithium battery solution hub.

From a Standard Cell to a Custom OEM Battery Pack
A catalog cell may meet the electrical target yet still be difficult to install in the finished equipment. Battery assemblies can introduce additional requirements for series or parallel configuration, lead length, connector selection, insulation, enclosure space and labeling.
PKCELL welcomes conversations about custom primary lithium battery assemblies, including pack geometry and termination requirements. Buyers with an established design can also review examples in the primary lithium battery-pack range.
Before requesting a sample or a quotation, try to prepare the following information:
- Device and application: what the equipment does, where it operates and how often it is serviced.
- Electrical requirements: operating voltage, sleep current, peak current, pulse duration and frequency.
- Environment and size: operating/storage temperatures and available battery compartment dimensions.
- Life target: expected deployment period and the system’s minimum acceptable supply voltage.
- Commercial details: preferred termination or connector, estimated quantities and project schedule.
Sharing these details early helps narrow possible chemistries and pack configurations. Need to discuss an OEM design? Request a battery-pack consultation ahead of the exhibition.

Make Your Visit to Booth 17.2 I05-06 More Productive
Whether you have a complete RFQ, an existing battery model or an early device concept, a focused meeting can clarify the next step. At the booth, we can discuss the differences between candidate primary chemistries, review your target load profile and identify what information is still needed for a product or pack evaluation.
If your sourcing team is comparing multiple suppliers, bring the specifications that will determine acceptance: dimensions, voltage limits, load behavior, temperature range, quality documentation needs, sampling requirements and expected order volume. It is better to resolve these points before making assumptions about battery life or interchangeability.
Exhibition reminder: The 140th Canton Fair’s first phase runs October 15–19, 2026, at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Find PKCELL at Booth 17.2 I05-06.
