No, the CR17505 is a primary (non-rechargeable) battery. It is designed for single use only, and attempting to recharge it is extremely dangerous. Although it is similar in size to a standard AA battery, it is not a replacement. A CR17505 has a nominal voltage of 3V, while an AA battery has a nominal voltage of 1.5V. Using a CR17505 in a device designed for an AA battery can cause severe damage due to the higher voltage.
